Prominent among them were Professor Weng Tujun from the PLA General Hospital, Professor Pei Hao from East China Normal University, and Professor Li Jian.

PLA General Hospital - Professor Weng Tujun

Weng Tujun is an associate researcher and master's supervisor at the Orthopedic Medical Department Research Institute of the PLA General Hospital. He serves as a member of the Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Committee of the China Association of Integrative Medicine, a member of the Basic and Translational Science Group of the PLA Orthopedics, and a member of the Knee Group of the Young Committee of the Orthopedic Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. He graduated with a Ph.D. from the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, with a research focus on stem cell and osteochondral regeneration and repair. As the principal investigator, he has led several projects, including sub-projects of the National 973 Project, the National Natural Science Foundation, the PLA Medical Research "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" general project, and the Beijing Natural Fund general project. His research papers have been published in international professional journals such as Journal of Cell Science, JBMR, Arthritis & Rheumatism, Osteoarthritis and Cartilage, Nature Cell Biology, Stem Cells International, and Stem Cells Research and Therapy.

Professor Pei Hao, with his rich experience in the field of materials biology, shared with the participants the application prospects of 

DNA origami and nano-delivery in disease treatment, and discussed the feasibility of in vivo nano-delivery for CAR-M. Professor 

Weng Tujun from the PLA General Hospital proposed a solution using programmable macrophages for clinical treatment in the field 

of sepsis. Professor Li Jian presented new research directions from the perspective of core cytokine combination druggability and 

proprietary production in the process of developing macrophage drugs. Kunshi's founder, Yin Xiushan, systematically explained the 

progress of Kunshi's first pipeline about to enter the clinic in just two years since its establishment, as well as the leading and 

disruptive nature of its three technology platforms. At the same time, starting from the advancement of the pipeline, some 

unexpected discoveries in the CAR-M R&D process were discussed, and a preliminary consensus was reached to improve the 

closed-loop model of clinic-pipeline-R&D-pipeline-clinic.
